Nikita DeshpandeDiploma in Filmmaking & VFX 2011
Stepping into FX School for the very first time is an experience on its own. The smell of the place, the light, everything reaches out to you. For the one year that I was here, the bar of visual creativity was always held very high up. Whether by seniors or members of faculty themselves. I loved that I could never be complacent there. That every time I did something, I earned a pat on the back. That there were ten things more waiting to be tried, tested, perfected.
As a filmmaking student, I was educated quite thoroughly: class assignments added to my skill sets, watching teacher-recommended movies made me recognize the elements of good cinema. But, above all of this, I was encouraged to further my learning in the best possible way: "go out and shoot”—something you'll find teachers telling you all the time. It made me independent, creative and taught me to troubleshoot.
Preeti Pankajakshan Diploma in CG Animation 2012
The time I had at FX School while pursuing a Diploma in CG Animation was the most wonderful and exciting time. FX School helped me to mould myself for a better career ahead. The staff and the faculty members were pillars of support and their guidance helped me find my way. I was placed at Prana Studios as a CHF artist. This was also possible because of the guidance of the FX School placement team.
Dino (Dinesh) Borude Specialization Course in CG Animation and VFX 2011
If you are looking for a school that would help you identify your skills and put you on the right path, the foundation course at FX is the perfect place to start. That's where I started and I got placed at one of the world’s best visual effects and animation studios, Rhythm & Hues. Talk about being at the right place at the right time!
Anuradha S. Alegavi Diploma in Digital Art 2012
Enrolling in FX-School was the best decision of my life. I learned more about painting in a few months than in my ten years of trying at school and other institutes. FX School is undoubtedly an institute with high caliber of teaching, ethics and support, both from teachers and fellow students.
Ridhiin Pancchmatia Basic Photography 2012
It was fun learning Photography at FX School, and being surrounded by creative people and doing studio and outdoor shoots. What I liked most was that the course is designed to take out the creative side of you rather than only teaching the functions of a DSLR. We were constantly encouraged to explore with composition, colors & lighting. I’m really glad to have had the experience of being at FX School.
